Children and Teens have very much wisdom. Children and teens have immense talent for hearing what animals, flowers and insects are saying.
When I was teaching in Hilo, Hawaii I stayed in a little cabin. Four times when I went to use the bathroom a frog was in the toilet. Each time I asked him to leave the toilet. He willingly obliged, jumping out and looking at me sweetly and lovingly in the eyes.
The forth time I suggested to him that inhabiting a toilet was not a good idea due to germs.
He looked at me with such compassion.
Later, the retreat center Host, Mara told me that nobody had been in the cabin for months.
Ordinarily the toilet was not used by humans. Then it dawned on me. I was peeing some one's home. He was being ever so patient and forgiving with me!
Often we fail to see the love and light between or among ourselves because we think the world is happening around us.
The animal communication class helps us to see through the eyes, hear through ears, and feel through the feelings and sensations of others so that we find deeper respect, honor and appreciation of animals, flowers, insects and all life. Many youth and teens experience an instant and innate ability with this when given encouragement and loving witnessing.

A Summer Camp
When I was 19 a man who had devoted his life to goodness and love suggested I work in the gardens and listen to the flowers, birds, and trees. He also suggested I practice gratitude as a daily way. From saying yes to his invitation over many years, great love and reverence has taken my heart into deep respect for the many creatures with whom I share the planet.
